Voter turnout para sa BOL plebiscite, lumagpas sa 85 percent – Comelec
Lagpas pa sa inaasahan ang naging voter turnout sa plebisito sa Bangsamoro Organic Law.
Sa kanyang tweet kagabi, sinabi ni Commission on Elections (Comelec) spokesperson James Jimenez na lampas 85 percent ang bumoto para sa plebisito.
Nauna nang sinabi ni Jimenez na posibleng lumampas sa 75 percent ang voter turnout.
Samantala, ipagpapatuloy na ng poll body ang canvassing ng boto ngayong araw matapos matanggap Miyerkules ng hapon ang unang certificate of canvass mula sa Cotabato City.
Nabalam ng dalawang beses ang canvassing sa Comelec headquarters sa Intramuros, Maynila dahil walang natatanggap na certificates of canvass mula Mindanao ang National Board of Canvassers.
