Taunang fireworks display sa MOA, ipahihinto ng DENR

Hihimukin ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) ang management ng SM Mall of Asia na itigil ang taunang fireworks display nito.

Ito ay bilang tulong sa nakakasang rehabilitasyon ng Manila Bay.

Ayon kay Environment Usec. Benny Antiporda, ang mga materyales sa paggawa ng fireworks tulad ng powder, papel at maging heavy metals ay napupunta lamang sa Manila Bay sa kasagsagan ng fireworks display.

Ani Anitporda, ngayong araw (Jan.24) ay magpapadala na ang DENR ng sulat sa management ng mall ukol sa kanilang hiling.
