Mga nominado sa 91st Academy Awards pormal nang inanunsyo

Napuno ng supresa ang announcement ng mga nominado para sa 91st Academy Awards.

Nangunguna sa may pinaka-maraming nominasyon ang pelikulang “Roma” ni Alfonso Cuaron at ang “The Favourite” na parehong may sampung nominasyon.

Kapwa may 8 nominasyon naman ang “A Star Is Born” at ang “Vice” habang 7 nominasyon naman ang nakuha ng superhero film na “Black Panther.”

Gumawa din ng kasaysayan ang Roma na unang pelikula ng streaming giant na Netflix na nakapasok sa best picture bukod pa sa nominasyon sa best director, best actress, best supporting actress at best foreign film.

Makasaysayan din ang pagkakasama ng Black Panther na kauna-unahang superhero film na nakapasok sa best picture category.

Nangunguna naman sa best actor category si Christian Bale para sa Vice na biopic ni US Vice President Dick Cheney.

Makakalaban ni Bale sina Rami Malek na gumanap na Freddie Mercury sa “Bohemian Rhapsody, ” Viggo Mortensen para sa “Green Book,” Bradley Cooper para sa A Star is Born” at si Willem Dafoe para sa “At Eternity’s Gate.”

Mahigpit namang magkalaban para sa best actress sina Glenn Close para sa pelikulang “The Wife” at ang baguhang si Yalitza Aparicio para sa “Roma” at ang singer na si Lady Gaga sa “A Star Is Born, ” Melissa McCarthy sa “Can You Ever Forgive Me?” at si Olivia Colman sa “The Favourite.”

Ang awards night ay gagawin sa February 24 sa Dolby Theatre sa Hollywood, California.
