Pope Francis nais imbitahan ng CBCP sa 500th anniversary ng Philippine Jubilee

Nais ng imbitahan ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines si Pope Francis sa 500th anniversary ng Philippine Jubilee sa 2021.

Ayon kay CBCP secretary general Fr. Marvin Mejia, tatalakayin ng CBCP ang naturang panukala sa magaganap na plenary assembly sa weekend.

Taong 2012 pa nang simulan ang preparasyon para sa fifth centenary celebration.

Noong January 2015, bumisita si Pope Francis sa Pilipinas bilang bahagi ng kaniyang Asian pilgrimage.

Kaya kung sakaling matutuloy, ito ang magiging unang pagkakataon na iimbitahan ng pinuno ng Simbahang Katoliko sa Pilipinas ang Santo Papa.
