Construction equipment sa Quezon sinunog ng mga miyembro ng NPA
Sinunog ng mga hinihinalang rebeldeng New People’s Army (NPA) ang mga heavy equipment sa bayan ng Real sa lalawigan ng Quezon.
Ayon kay 1st Lt. Felise Vida Solano, public information officer ng Southern Luzon Command (Solcom) ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), sinabi ng project manager sa lugar na kabilang sa mga sinunog ang tatlong dump trucks, dalawang backhoes, transit mixer, loader, generator set, L300 van, at isang pick up.
Naganap ang insidente sa Barangay Maragondon alas 11:30 ng gabi ng Lunes, Jan. 22.
Sinabuyan umano ng gasolina ang mga gamit at saka ito sinilaban.
Wala namang nasugatan sa insidente.
Ang mga nasunog na heavy equipment ay ginagamit sa mini-hydro dam project.
Nagsasagawa na ng hot pursuit operations ang mga otoridad laban sa mga suspek.
