Stranded na pasahero sa mga pantalan dahil sa bagyong Amang, nadagdagan pa

Umaabot sa kabuuang 2,802 passengers; 55 vessels; 423 rolling cargoes; at 10 motorbancas ang stranded sa mga pantalan sa Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Eastern Visayas at Southern Visayas dahil sa Tropical Depression “Amang”.

Ayon kay Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Spokesman Captain Armand Balilo sa Central Visayas pa lamang pumapalo na sa 280 passengers; 15 vessels; 34 rolling cargoes; at 10 motorbancas ang nai-stranded.

Habang sa Northern Mindanao – 354 passengers na pasahero ang nananatili sa mga pantalan.

Sa Eastern Visayas naman, umaabot sa 2,083 na pasahero ang stranded at sa Southern Visayas ay umaabot sa 85 ang stranded.

Paliwanag ni Balilo, lahat ng PCG units ay pinapayuhang tiyaking naipatutupad ng mahigpit ang HPCG Memorandum Circular Number 02-13 o ang panuntunan tungkol sa paglalayag sa karagatan kapag mayroong sama ng panahon.
