Halos 700 pasahero, stranded sa mga pantalan sa Visayas

Halos 700 pasahero ang stranded sa iba’t ibang pantalan sa northern Cebu at iba pang parte ng Central at Eastern Visayas.

Ito ay bunsod ng umiiral na sama ng panahon na Bagyong Amang.

Sa 4:00 PM data ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa Cebu, nasa 549 pasahero ang stranded sa Eastern Visayas, 60 sa Cebu province sa Central Visayas at 47 sa Western Visayas.

Ayon kay Hagnaya port administrator Ruelan Catempohan, hindi bababa sa 60 na pasahero ang hindi nakabiyahe papuntang Sta. Fe, Bantayan Island.

Maliban sa naturang datos PCG Cebu, 100 na rolling cargoes at limang vessel ang hindi pinaglaya sa rehiyon.

Sa Western Visayas naman, 22 na rolling cargoes at anim na vessel ang hindi pinaalis ng pantalan.

Inabisuhan naman ang lahat ng PCG units ukol sa istriktong implementasyon ng HPCG Memorandum Circular Number 02-13 o Guidelines on Movement of Vessels during Heavy Weather.
