Yumanig ang isang magnitude 5.0 na lindol sa karagatang sakop ng Davao Occidental ngayong alas-2:52 ng madaling araw.
Ayon sa Phivolcs, ang episentro ng lindol ay sa layong 428 kilometro Timog-Silangan ng Sarangani.
May lalim itong 149 kilometro at tectonic ang dahilan.
Bagaman walang inaasahang pinsala sa mga ari-arian, sinabi ng Phivolcs na asahan pa ang mga kasunod pang pagyanig o aftershocks.
