Abugado, nagbantang kakasuhan ang CebPac dahil sa mga kanseladong flights

Nagbanta si Atty. Raymond Fortun na kakasuhan ang Cebu Pacific dahil sa pagkansela ng flight ng kanyang pamilya na nataon sa panahon ng APEC summit dito sa bansa.

Sa Facebook post ng abugado, sinabi nito na November 14, nakatanggap siya ng email mula sa naturang flight carrier na nagsasabing kanselado na ang kanilang return flight mula Vietnam pabalik ng Maynila na nakatakda kahapon, November 19.

Gayunman, November 15 aniya, isang email muli ang kanyang natanggap na nagsabi namang maaari na silang mag-check in para sa kanilang return trip, bagay na ginawa naman nito.

Nagawa pa umanong makapagcheck-in ng kanyang pamilya at makakuha ng boarding pass gamit ang internet kaya’t buo ang kanilang loob na tuloy ang kanilang byahe pabalik ng Maynila.

Gayunman, pagdating sa paliparan sa Saigon, nadismaya ang abugado nang malamang kanselado pa rin ang kanilang byahe pabalik ng Maynila dahil sa APEC.

I was supposed to treat my nephews (who had flown in from the US) to golf today and tomorrow. Gone. I have choir practice this weekend because my choir is singing in our priest’s sacerdotal mass. Gone. I’m supposed to do a photo shoot to celebrate the female body regardless of curves. Gone. My son is despondent because his music teacher/choirmaster would be furious at him. We will have to reuse our soiled clothes as we only brought clothes good for 3 days,” reklamo ng abugado sa kanyang Facebook post.

Sa panig naman ng Cebu Pacific, humingi na ito ng paumanhin sa lahat ng mga naapektuhang pasahero.

Paliwanag ng CebPac, tumanggap ng ‘system generated email’ ang mga pasahero sa kabila ng kanselasyon ng mga flights sa araw na nabanggit.

“Cebu Pacific sincerely apologizes to passengers with cancelled flights, who still received a system generated email prompting them to check in online. The email message was automatically sent to all passengers with flights departing within 72 hours. This resulted in some passengers going to the airport, despite their flight being cancelled,” paliwanag ng Cebu Pacific sa kanilang Facebook post.

“Cebu Pacific would like to remind our guests to check the list of flights in these pages (https://bit.ly/ceb-apec2015 and https://bit.ly/cebgo-apec2015) for the current cancellation status before heading to the airport. This reminder applies to all passengers including those who might have already checked in via our website or mobile app.” Dagdag pa ng flight carrier.
