Mahigit 1,000 kilo ng karne mula China naharang sa NAIA

Naharang sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) ang nasa 1,151 kilo ng karne mula China na walang sanitary clearance.

Ayon kay Carmelita Talusan, district collector ng Bureau of Customs sa NAIA, nakumpiska ang mga karne dahil walang sanitary at phytosanitary clearance ang mga ito.

Matatandaan na kabilang ang China sa listahan ng mga bansa na mayroong African swine fever (ASF).

Sinabi ni Talusan na naibigay na ang mga karne sa Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI).

Dahil dito ay nagpaalala ang Customs-NAIA na huwag munang magdala o kumuha ng meat products mula sa mga bansang may naitalang ASF.
