“Green products” bibida sa mga tanggapan ng gobyerno
Mas pagtutuunan ng pamahalaan ng ang pagbili ng mga “green products” bilang bahagi ng pagpapalakas ng green procurement program sa bansa.
Ang mga green products ay mula sa mga recycled materials o yung mga gumagamit ng renewable at sustainable sources.
Sinabi ni Budget Sec. Benjamin Diokno na isusulong ng Malacañang ang Philippine Development Plan 2017-2022 na naglalayong isulong ang maayos, malinis at malusog na working environment.
Sa kanyang talumpati sa Green Finance Forum sa Maynila, sinabi ng kalihim na tiyak na susunod ang pribadong sektor kapag nakita nilang seryoso ang pamahalaan sa paggamit ng nasabing mga uri ng gobyerno.
Sisimulan umano ito sa pagbili ng mga office supplies na gawa sa mga recycled materials.
Kahit na ang simpleng tissue paper na gawa sa recycled materials ay magdudulot ng kabutihan sa kapaligiran ayon pa sa opisyal.
Dagdag pa ni Diokno, “So expect in the near future the government will have toilet papers, record books, chairs, computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, vehicles, among other equipment and facilities that comply with green public procurement.”
