Nasa likod ng data breach sa passport dapat matukoy ng gobyerno – CHR

Iginiit ng Commission on Human Rights (CHR) na maituturing na karapatan ang pagiging pribado ng personal na buhay sa ilalim ng Universal Declaration of Human Rights at ng Data Privacy Act of 2012.

Ito ay sa harap ng isyu ng data breach ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Kasabay nito, pinuri ni CHR spokesperson Jacqueline de Guia ang National Privacy Commission sa pag-iimbestiga sa posibilidad na pagkakompromiso ng mga passport data.

Nanawagan sa administrasyong Duterte ang CHR na tukuyin ang nasa likod nito at papanagutin upang matiyak na mapoprotektahan ang lahat ng apektado sa pangyayari.
