Limang Filipino crew members ng nasunog na barko sa Hawaii pinaghahanap pa rin

Hindi pa rin natatagpuan ang limang Filipino seafarers ng isang Panamanian-flagged vessel na nasunog sa karagatan ng Hawaii.

Ayon sa pahayag ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), nasunog ang MV Sincerity Ace noong New Year’s Eve sa bahagi ng Oahu.

Nang sumiklab ang apoy, nagtalunan sa karagatan ang 21 Filipino crew memmbers ng barko.

Lima sa mga Pinoy ang patuloy pa ring pinaghahanap sa ngayon, habang ang 16 ay nailigtas ng mga tauhan ng United States Coast Guard at iba pang dumaraang barko.

Galing ng Japan ang barko at may sakay na 3,500 na mga bagong sasakyan na dadalhin sa Hawaii.
