Cimatu nag-inspeksyon sa estero at mga establisyimento malapit sa Manila Bay
Ininspeksyon ni Department of Environment and Natural Resources Sec. Roy Cimatu ang mga establisyimento at mga estero sa palibot ng Manila Bay.
Partikular na tinignan ni Cimatu ang Estero San Antonio de Abad na ang tubig ay dumederetso sa Manila Bay upang malaman kung may nakakunektang sewage treatment plants dito.
Ayon kay Cimatu, ang Estero San Antonio de Abad na katabi lamang ng Ospital ng Maynila ang itinuturing ng DENR na “Ground Zero” para sa Manila Bay rehab.
Kasamang nag-inspeksyon ni Cimatu ang mga opisyal ng Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA).
Una nang sinabi ng DENR na tinatayang aabot sa 50 establisyimento ang posibleng isara dahil sa pag-aambag ng mga ito ng polusyon sa Manila Bay.
