Mahigit 300 gasolinahan nagpataw na ng excise tax sa kanilang produktong petrolyo ayon sa DOE

Mahigit 300 fuel retail stations ang nagpataw na excise tax sa kanilang ibinebentang mga produkto.

Ito ay kahit patuloy ang paalala ng Department of Energy (DOE) na sa kalagitnaan pa o katapusan pa ng Enero dapat ipatupad ang ikalawang bahagi ng excise tax.

Ayon kay DOE Undersecretary Wiliam Felix Fuentebella, 268 na gasoline station ng Petron ang nagpatupad na ng excise tax habang 32 naman ang sa Flying V.

Sinabi ni Fuentebella na isasailalim nila sa inspeksyon ang mga istasyon na ito para matiyak na nakasunod sila sa requirements gaya ng paglalagay ng tarpaulin na nagsasabing may dagdag nang excise tax ang kanilang presyo.

Nasa mga consumer pa rin naman aniya ang “power of choice” at may desisyon sila kung saan sila magpapakarga ng gasolina.
