Epektibo na ang taas presyo sa mga produktong petrolyo ngayong araw January 8, 2019.
May dagdag na P0.80 sa kada litro ng gasolina habang P0.70 sa kada litro naman ng diesel.
Mamayang alas sais ng umaga epektibo ang nasabing pagtaas sa mga kumpanya ng Shell, Seaoil, Petron, Flying V, Petro Gazz, PTT Philippnes, Eastern Petroleum, Phoenix Petroleum, Unioil at Jetti.
Nauna namang nagpatupad ng oil price hike kaninang hatinggabi ang kumpanyang ng Caltex.
Una nagpatupad ng taas presyo ang Caltex kaninang alas-dose ng hatinggabi.
Meron din na dagdag na P0.40 sa kada litro ng kerosene ng Shell, Seaoil, Petron, Flying V at Caltex.
Binabantayan naman ng Department of Energy (DOE) ang mga kumpanya ng langis na sinumulan ng ipatupad ang karagdagang excise tax sa mga produktong petrolyo.
Ito ay may kaugnayan sa second tranch ng excise tax ng Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.
