DepEd nais makipagdayalogo sa DILG
Humiling ng dayalogo ang Department of Education (DepEd) sa Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Ito ay matapos mag-leak ang isang memorandum na nag-aatas sa mga eskwelahan na tukuyin ang mga gurong kasapi ng Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT).
Ayon kay DepEd Undersecretary Annalyn Sevilla, nais ni Education Sec. Leonor Briones na makipag-usap kay Sec. Eduardo Año hinggil dito.
Batay sa kumalat na memo, ipinag-utos ng PNP ang lahat ng private at public shools sa Maynila at Zambales District na mag-provide ng listahan ng mga guro na miyembro ng ACT.
Sa larawan ng memo na lumabas sa social media, para sa Maynila, ang memo ay nilagdaan ni MPD Chief insp. Rexson Layug at sa Zambales ay si Zambales Police Chief Insp. Pancho Doble ang pumirma.
Ang naturang hakbang ng PNP ay binatikos ng ACT at tinawag na unconstitutional attack sa kanilang karapatan.
Hinikayat din ng grupo ang DepEd na protektahan ang karapatan at personal na impormasyo ng mga guro.
