Mahigit 70,000 pasahero bumiyahe sa mga pantalan mula kaninang madaling araw

Sa loob ng anim na oras simula kanina (Jan. 3) ng madaling araw umabot na sa mahigit 70,000 pasahero ang na-monitor ng Philippine Coast Guard na bumiyahe sa iba’t ibang mga pantalan sa bansa.

Sa monitoring ng coast guard sa kanilang Oplan Biyaheng Ayos, 71,422 na pasahero ang naitala mula alas 12:00 ng madaling araw hanggang alas 6:00 ng umaga.

Malaking bilang ng mga pasaherong bumiyahe ay mula sa Eastern Visayas kung saan naitala ang 49,991 na biyahero; sumunod ang Central Visayas – 7,370; Western Visayas – 4,170; Southern Visayas – 2,148 at Northern Mindanao – 2,049; Bicol – 1,902; Southern Tagalog at South Eastern Mindanao na kapwa nakapagtala ng 1,896 na mga pasahero.

Ngayong araw inaasahang marami ang magbabalik sa Metro Manila galing sa mga lalawigan kung saan sila nagdiwang ng Pasko at Bagong Taon.
