Tribute concert para kay Aretha Franklin isasagawa sa Los Angeles
Magsasagawa ng isang tribute concert ang CBS para sa Queen of Soul na si Aretha Franklin.
Gaganapin ang “Aretha! A Grammy Celebration for the Queen of Soul” concert sa Shrine Auditorium sa Los Angeles, California sa January 13.
Bago mamatay sa edad na 76 noong nakaraang taon, nakuha ni Aretha ang 18 Grammy Awards.
Kabilang sa mga magtatanghal para sa tribute concert sina Celine Dion, Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Alessia Cara, John Legend, BeBe Winans, Brandi Carlile, Common, Chloe X Halle, H.E.R., Janelle Monáe, Patti Labelle, Shirley Caesar, Sza, at Yolanda Adams.
Ayon sa executive vice president of Specials, Music and Live Events ng CBS Entertainment na si Jack Sussman, ang naturang pagtatanghal ay upang ipagdiwang ang legasiya na iniwan ni Aretha hindi lamang sa pagiging isang musician, ngunit maging sa pagiging aktres at civil rights activist.
Ang tribute concert ay ipalalabas sa CBS sa hindi pa batid na petsa ngayong taon.
