DENR, himok ang publiko na iwasan ang pagpaputok para bawas polusyon

Hinimok ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources ang publiko na iwasan na ang pagpapaputok sa pagsalubong sa Bagong Taon para makabawas sa polusyon sa hangin.
Ayon kay DERN Sec. Roy Cimatu, bukod sa pag-iwas sa pagkakaroon ng air pollution ay makakatulong ito sa kalusagan ng mga tao.
Ito ay partikular na sa mga bata at mga senior citizens.
Pinasalamatan din ni Cimatu ang publiko sa pagkakaroon ng isang environment-friendly na bansa.
