PNP, inilabas ang listahan ng election hot spots sa bansa
Inilabas na ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang mga lungsod at probinsya na ikinokonsidera bilang “elections areas of grave concern.”
Ito ay dahil sa nakikita o nababantayang presensya ng iba’t ibang armadong grupo sa mga lugar.
Kabilang sa listahan ng election hot spots ay ang mga sumusunod:
Region 1:
– Sudipen, La Union
– Balaoan, La Union
Region 2:
– Jones, Isabela
Region 4-A:
– Lemery, Batangas
Region 4-B:
– Roxas, Oriental Mindoro
Region 5:
– Balud, Masbate
– Dimasalang, Masbate
Region 9:
– Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur
Region 10:
– Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental
ARMM:
– Hadji Mohammad Ajul, Basilan
– Lantawan, Basilan
– Tipo-tipo, Basilan
– Marawi City, Lanao del Sur
– Sultan Dumalondong, Lanao del Sur
– Mamasapano, Maguindanao
– Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao
– Shariff Saydona Mustapha, – Maguindanao
– Datu Unsay, Maguindanao
Matatandaang sinabi ng PNP ang paggawa ng security plan bilang preparasyon sa nalalapit na national and local elections.
Sinabi ni PNP chief Director General Oscar Albayalde na magkakaroon ng weekly assessment para malaman kung hihiling ang PNP na isama sa Commission on Elections (Comelec) control ang ‘election hot spots.’
