Presyuhan ng langis ng mga oil companies, ipahihimay ng DOE
Nakatakdang ipag-utos ni Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Alfonso Cusi sa mga kumpanya ng langis ang ‘unbundling’ o paghihimay sa presyo ng kanilang mga produkto.
Ito ay ipang matiyak na tama at makatwiran ang presyo ng oil firms sa petrolyo.
Ayon kay DOE Usec. Felix William Fuentebella, kabilang sa ‘unbundling’ ay ang product cost, freight cost o gastos sa transportasyon, mayroong insurance, mayroong foreign exchange, buwis at bio fuels cost.
Ani Fuentebella, hinihintay na lamang ang lagda ni Cusi sa ilalabas na Department Order.
Ikinatuwa naman ng consumer group na Laban Konsumer ang gagawing hakbang ng DOE at sinabing gabay ito para malaman ang tunay na presyo ng petrolyo.
