Nasawi ang bunsong anak ni Ilocos Norte 1st District Rep. Rodolfo Fariñas sa isang aksidente.
Kinilala ang namatay na si JR Fariñas, 20 years old.
Batay sa impormasyon, dead-on-arrival si JR sa isang ospital sa Laoag City, na dating naging Presidente ng Sangguniang Kabataan sa Ilocos Norte.
Sakay umano ng motorsiklo si JR nang sumalpok sa isang concrete barrier sa national highway sa Barangay Buyon kaninang madaling araw.
Sa lakas ng impact, tumilapon umano si JR, at nasunog pa ang motorsiklo nito.
Sa Instagram post ni Ilocos Norte Board Member Ria Fariñas, kapatid ni JR, nakasulat ang “REST EASY, MY LOVE. Gone to soon. But the time for you to be with Mommy. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, J.”
Si JR ay anak ni Cong. Fariñas sa dating beauty queen na si Maria Teresa Carlson, na matataandang napatiwakal noong November 2001.
