100 katutubo nasagip ng DSWD at pulis sa Quezon City
Mahigit 100 mga katutubong palaboy sa mga kalsada ng Quezon City ang sinagip ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at Philippine National Police (PNP).
Nabatid na 102 mga Aeta at 40 mga Badjao ang dinampot ng mga elemento ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 10 at DSWD.
Ang mga ito umano ay nagkalat sa lungsod Quezon upang mamasko sa mga pasahero.
Ayon sa mga otoridad, posibleng may sindikato sa likod ng exploitation sa mga namamaskong katutubo sa Metro Manila.
Dadalhin ang mga nasagip na Aeta at Badjao sa isang temporary shelter sa Mandaluyong City bago isaayos ang pagbabalik sa mga ito sa kani-kanilang mga probinsya.
