Ex-MARINA employee, arestado dahil sa pangingikil
Arestado sa entrapment operation ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang isang dating kawani ng Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) dahil sa pangingikil ng P20,000 kapalit ng certificate of proficiency mula sa MARINA.
Ang suspek na si Malone Morales ay dinakip ng NBI Anti-Organized and Transnational Crime Division sa McDonald’s San Marcelino sa Ermita, Maynila noong Disyembre 7.
Sa imbestigasyon ng NBI, kulang ng papeles ang hindi tinukoy na complainant ngunit pinangakuan ng suspek na kaya niyang ayusin ang mga rekisito ng biktima upang makakuha ng certificate of proficiency in navigation.
Ang suspek ay ipinagharap na ng kasong extortion sa piskalya ng Maynila.
