Higit 100 distressed OFWs mula Saudi Arabia, balik-Pilipinas na

Isa pang panibagong batch ng mga overseas Filipino worker mula sa Saudi Arabia ang nakauwi na sa bansa, araw ng Sabado.

Ang 109 na distressed OFWs mula Damman ay dumating sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) sa tulong ng Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

Ang pamasahe ng mga OFW ay sinagot ng OWWA bilang bahagi ng programa ng pamahalaan na pangalagaan ang kapakanan ng tinaguriang bagong bayani ng bansa.

Ang mga ito ay dating empleyado ng Al Azmeel Contracting and Construction Corporation, Rakkan Trading and Contracting Company, at SAMAMA Company for Operation and Management.

Ang mga ito ay pinili na umuwi dahil sa paglabag sa kontrata ng kanilang mga employer habang ang iba ay hindi pinapasahod o hindi pinagbabakasyon.
