Joma Sison kinondena ang pag-aresto sa isang NDFP consultant
Kinondena ni CPP founder Jose Maria Sison ang ginawang pag-aresto kay National Democratic Front of the Philippines peace consultant Rey Casambre.
Sa pahayag, sinabi ni Sison na ang pag-aresto kay Casambre ay isang halimbawa ng “injustice” na umiiral sa ilalim ng adminstrasyon ni Pangulong Duterte.
Sinabi ni Sison ang ginawang pagdakip kay Casambre ay paglabag sa kaniyang basic democratic rights na nagbibigay proteksyon sa kaniya laban sa arbitrary arrest.
Ani Sison biktima si Casambre ng pekeng reklamo at tinaniman pa ito ng ebidensya.
Tinawag din ni Sison na pag-atake sa peace process ang ginawang pagdakip sa consultant ng NDFP.
“His arrest is a violation of the continuing safety and immunity guarantees under Jasig and The Hague Joint Declaration,” ani Sison.
Si Casambre at kaniyang asawa ay naaresto sa Bacoor City, Biyernes ng umaga.
