Arroyo dapat magpaliwanag sa budget insertion ayon sa Malacañang
Pinagpapaliwanag ng Malacañang si House Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo kaugnay sa isiniwalat ni Senador Panfilo Lacson na may isiningit na P2.4 Billion insertion sa 2019 proposed national budget.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, malaking halaga ang hinihinging appropriations ni Arroyo kung kaya marapat lamang na maipalawanag kung anong mga proyekto ang paglalaanan nito.
Sakali man aniyang may nakita na hindi tama sa ginawang re- alignment ni Arroyo, may kapangyarihan naman si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na i-veto ito.
Kapag kasi aniya nakita ng pangulo na labag sa konstitusyon ang ginawa ni Arroyo, tiyak na hindi ito palulusutin ng punong ehekutibo.
“I think we should ask the Speaker why the allocation (in her district) is that large compared to others…anyone involved in the realignment, can justify why there is a need to place that kind of amount in a particular area and the other areas do not need that, then that could be justified,” dagdag pa ni Panelo.
Bukod kay Arroyo, ibinunyag din ni Lacson na mayroon ding ginawang budget insertion si Camarines Sur Congressman Rolando Andaya na aabot naman sa P1.9 Billion.
