Foreign investment pledges umabot na sa P91 Billion ayon sa PSA

Iniulat ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) na umaabot sa P45.9 Billion ang nakuhang foreign investment commitments ng bansa para sa third quarter ng taong kasalukuyan.

Ang nasabing total approved foreign investments mula buwan ng Hulyo hanggang Setyembre ay mas mataas ng 6.5 percent kumpara sa P43 Billion na naitala sa kahalintulad na panahon noong 2017.

Ang nasabing investment report ay mula sa mga isiumiteng ulat ng Board of Investments (BOI),Clark Development Corporation (CDC), Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA), Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) at BOI-Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BOI-ARMM).

Nilinaw ng PSA na ang nasabing mga pledges mula sa foreign investors ay garantisadong mauuwi sa dagdag na pamumuhunan sa bansa.

Sa kabuuan ay umaabot na sa P91 Billion ang total foreign investments pledges sa bansa para sa kasalukuyang taon ayon sa PSA.

Sakaling matuloy, makikinabang sa nasabing investment ang mga proyekto ng pamahalaan partikular na sa Northern Mindanao Region at Central Luzon.

Karamihan sa mga proyektong ito ay may kaugnayan sa energy development at infrastructure ayon pa sa ulat ng PSA.
