Martial law extension sa Mindanao susuportahan ng Kamara ayon kay Speaker GMA
Siniguro ni House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo kay Panguong Rodrigo Duterte na papalawigin ng Kamara ang martial law at suspension of the writ of habeas corpus sa Mindanao para sa susunod na taon.
Ayon kay Speaker GMA, hinihintay na lamang nila ang formal request ng pangulo.
Paliwanag ng lider ng Kamara na kapag dumating sa kanila ang request ay siya mismo ang magrerekomenda upang ito ay maaprubahan.
Iginiit naman ni House Majority Floor Leader at Camarines Sur Representative Rolando
Andaya, Jr. ang kanilang suporta sa pahayag ni AFP chief General Carlito Galvez, Jr. na irerekomenda ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Philippine National Police (PNP) ang pagpapalawig ng martial law sa Mindanao mula December 31, 2018 hanggang December 31, 2019.
Bibigyan aniya nila ng halaga ang pananaw ng mga mambabatas mula sa Mindanao dahil sila ang direktang apektado nito.
