Paggamit ng ‘torotot’ hindi rin ligtas sa pagsalubong sa Bagong Taon
Nagbabala ang EcoWaste Coalition na ang paggamit ng mga torotot sa pagsalubong sa Bagong Taon ay hindi ligtas na alternatibo sa mga paputok.
Sa inilunsad na ‘Oplan: Iwas Paputok’ kahapon iginiit ng environmental group na maaaring may nakalalasong materyal sa mga torotot.
Posible rin umanong ang whistle ng mga totorot ay isang choking hazard o maaaring malunok ng taong gagagmit nito.
Matatandaang ipinagbawal na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Executive Order No. 28 ang paggamit ng mga paputok tulad ng sinturon ni Hudas, Piccolo, Watusi at Super Lolo.
