Bago ang game 2 ng “Battle of Katipunan” ngayong araw, pinarangalan muna ang ilan sa mga manlalaro na nagpakita ng husay at umangat sa Men’s Basketball ng UAAP season 81.
Si Juan Gomez de Liano ng UP Fighting Maroons ang itinanghal bilang Playmaker of the Season.
Si Sean Manganti naman ng Adamson Soaring Falcons ang Most Improved Player.
Ang Rookie of the Year ay si Angelo Kouame ng Ateneo Blue Eagles, habang ang Most Valuable Player ay si Bright Akhuetie ng UP Fighting Maroons.
Pasok sa Mythical Team sina Akhuetie at Juan GDL ng UP, Justine Baltazar ng La Salle Green Archers, Alvin Pasaol ng UE Red Warriors, at Jerrick Ahanmisi ng Adamson.
Anumang oras ay magsisimula na ang game 2 sa pagitan ng UP at Ateneo na gaganapin sa Araneta Coliseum sa Cubao, Quezon City.
