Paghahain ng Petition for Certiorari laban sa desisyon ng Makati RTC Branch 148 sa kaso ni Trillanes, inerekomenda ng DOJ
Inirekomenda ng Department of Justice sa Office of the Solicitor General ang paghahain ng Petition for Certiorari sa mataas na korte laban sa desisyon ng Makati RTC Branch 148 sa kasong isinampa nito laban kay Senador Antonio Trillanes IV.
Kasunod ito ng pagbasura kamakailan ni Branch 148 Judge Andres Soriano sa kanilang motion for reconsideration na humihirit sa korte na baligtarin ang nauna nitong desisyon na huwag magpalabas ng warrant of arrest at huwag ilagay sa hold departure order ang senador.
Ang kaso ay may kinalaman sa kasong kudeta laban sa senador na binuhay ng DOJ.
Ang nasabing rekomendasyon ay ipinarating ni OIC Prosecutor General Richard Fadullon sa pamamagitan ng isang liham kay Solicitor General Calida.
Ayon kay Fadullon, nagpasya silang irekomenda ang Petition for Certiorari sa halip na ordinaryong apela o Appeal by CertiorarI dahil naniniwala sila na may grave abuse of authority sa panig ni Presiding Judge Soriano.
