Pagbabalik ng mandatory ROTC hihilingin ng pangulo sa Kongreso
Hihilingin ni Panguliong Rodrigo Duterte sa Kongreso na bumalangkas ng batas para ibalik ang mandatory Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC).
Ayon sa pangulo, kung makukuha sa executive order, maaari niya itong subukan para maobliga ang mga estudyante na kumuha ng ROTC.
Constitutional requirement aniya na sumailalim sa military training ang mga estudyante para maidepensa ang bansa sa anumang envasion o banta ng pag-atake.
Hindi aniya dapat na mag-waiver ang mga estudyante sa pagsuporta sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) kung kinakailangan.
