SRP sa mga basic goods pinaaaral ni Rep. Cua sa mga economic managers
Hinimok ni Quirino Representative Dakila Carlo Cua ang economic managers ng administrasyong Duterte na i-review na ang Suggested Retail Price (SRP) sa mga basic commodities.
Ito ay kasunod ng pagbaba ng presyo ng mga produktong petrolyo sa loob ng anim na linggo na inaasahang magpapahupa sa inflation.
Sa inihaing House Resolution Number 2308, nais ni Cua na i-rollback ang SRP sa mga pangunahing produkto tulad ng de-lata, gatas, instant noodles, at sabon.
Ito aniya ang dapat ibigay na regalo sa mga consumer ngayong Pasko lalo na’t patuloy sa pagbaba ang presyo ng langis sa world market simula pa noong Oktubre.
Sa katunayan, mula USD83 per barrel ay bumagsak na umano ang presyo ng krudo sa USD67 per barrel.
Nakasaad sa Republic Act No. 7581 na ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) ang lead implementing agency na naglalabas ng SRP sa mga basic goods.
