Ito ang naging pakiusap ng palasyo sa mga nanawagan na isapubliko na ang laman ng memorandum of agreement kaugnay sa oil and gas exploration deal sa West Philipine Sea na nilagdaan kahapon sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at China.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, abala pa sa ngayon ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) dahil sa dalawang araw na state visit ni Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Humihingi ng pang unawa ang palasyo sa mga nag -aabang lalo na sa mga kagawad ng media.
Tiniyak pa ni Panelo na kapag available na ang dokumento ay agad na itong isasapubliko.
“The Palace takes into account that the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), which is the Office of Primary Responsibility during the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to the country, is still preoccupied with activities on Day 2 of the Chinese leader’s visit. We therefore ask for everyone’s understanding, especially the media, in this regard”, pakiusap ni Panelo.
Samantala, sinabi ni Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi na wala pa siyang hawak na kopya.
Matatandaan na hiniling nila Sen. Antionio Trillanes, Chiz Escudero at Francis Pangilinan na isapubliko ang kasunduan.
