Malacañang handa sa joint exploration sa West Philippine Sea
Walang problema sa Malacañang kung ang China ang bumalangkas ng draft ng joint exploration agreement na papasukin ng Pilipinas sa West Philippine Sea.
Ito ay kahit na wala pang kumpirmasyon ang Malacañang kung magkakaroon ng naturang kasunduan sa state visit sa bansa ngayong araw ni Chinese Presdient Xi Jinping.
Paliwanag ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, ito ay dahil sa bubusisiin pa rin naman ng Pilipinas kung legal o hindi ang kasunduan.
“It doesn’t matter who drafted it, as far as we’re concerned, you give us a draft and we’ll go over it. We will see whether it is illegal or not, whether it is beneficial to us”, dagdag pa ng opisyal.
Bukod dito, aalamin din aniya ng administrasyon kung kapaki-pakinabang sa bansa ang joint exploration.
Ayon sa kalihim, kahit pa ang Pilipinas ang bumalangkas ng draft ay tiyak na bubusisiin din naman ng China ang kasunduan.
