Walang kinalaman sa pagiging miyembro ng makakaliwang grupo ang pagsibak ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa tatlong undersecretaries ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Ayon kay Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, nais lamang ng DSWD na makabuo ng magandang team kung kaya tinapos na ang serbisyo nina DSWD Undersecretary for Promotive Operations and Programs Group Maria Lourdes Turalde-Jarabe, Undersecretary for Protective Operations and Programs Group Mae Ancheta-Templa, at Undersecretary for Disaster Response Management Group Hope Hervilla.
Si Jarabe ay dating secretary general ng grupong Gabriela, habang si Hervilla ay Regional Chairperson ng Bayan Muna at si Templa ay miyembro ng Forum of Women for Action with Rody Duterte.

Samantala, sinabi naman sa Radyo Inquirer ni DSWD Spokesperson Assistant Secretary Glenda Relova na walang bahid ng korupsyon o madalas na pagbiyahe sa abroad ang tatlong undersecretaries.
Ayon kay Relova, maayos ang rekord ng tatlong opisyal.
Matatandaang sa talumpati ng pangulo sa harap ng Filipino community sa Papua New Guinea noong Biyernes, sinabi nito na may sisibakin pa siyang opisyal pag-uwi ng bansa.
Gayunman, hindi na tinukoy ng pangulo kung sinong opisyal ang masisipa sa puwesto.
