Tradisyon na ang pag-iilaw sa 100 talampakang Christmas tree na ito mula pa taong 1981.
Daan-daang katao ang tumungo sa Times Square Food Park upang tunghayan ang event at para na rin panoorin ang paborito nilang mga showbiz personalities.
