iPhone X sumabog matapos ang iOS 12.1 update

Viral ngayon sa social media ang ulat ukol sa pagsabog ng isang iPhone X unit sa Washington, sa US makaraan itong i-upgrade sa iOS12.1.

Ayon sa Twitter post ng may-ari ng cellphone na si Rahel Mohamad, una niyang napansin na uminit bago umusok ang kanyang iPhone X habang ito ay nakasaksak sa kanyang charger.

Nilinaw rin ni Mohamad na gamit niya ang original na charger at cable nang ito ay kanyang isaksak sa kuryente.

Makalipas lamang ang ilang sandali ay kaagad itong uminit, umusok bago sumabog.

“This year early January I bought the iPhone and have been using it normally. Then dark grey smoke started coming from the phone. The update was completed and as soon as the phone turned on it started to smoke and caught fire,” ayon kay Mohamad.

Kaagad namang sumagot sa kanyang post ang Apple, “That’s definitely not expected behavior. DM us, so we can look into this with you”.

Hiniling rin ng Apple na ipadala ni Mohamad sa kanila ang unit para kaagad na masimulan ang kaukulang imbestigasyon.

Ito ang unang pagkakataon na may naiulat na sumabog na iPhone X mula nang ito ay ilunsad sa merkado noong nakalipas na taon.

Magugunitang ganito rin ang nangyari sa kaso ng Samsung Note 7 kung saan ay napilitan ang nasabing telecom giant na ipa-recall ang lahat ng nasabing unit dahil sa sunod-sunod na kaso ng pagsabog nito.
