P200/month na subsidy sa minimum wage earners pinag-aaralan na ng economic managers ng Malakanyang

Nakabinbin pa ang panukalang bigyan ng P200 na food subsidy ang mga minimum wage earners sa bansa.

Ayon kay Labor Sec. Silvestre Bello III, mangangailangan ng P20 Billion na pondo ang gobyerno para dito.

Tinataya kasing aabot sa 4 na milyong minimum wage earners ang mabebenepisyuhan sakaling maipatupad ito.

Ipinauubaya naman na ng DOLE sa economic managers ng Malakanyang ang pagpapasya hinggil dito dahil mas sila aniya ang higit na makakaalam ng magiging epekto nito.

Una nang inihirit ng Associated Labor Unions na bigyan ang mga minimum wage earners ng P500 na subsidiya kada buwan makaraang P25 lamang ang aprubahang dagdag sa arawang sahod sa Metro Manila.
