Budget deliberations para sa 2019 budget itutuloy na ng Senado ngayong araw
Sa muling pagbubukas ng sesyon ng Kongreso ngayong araw ay itutuloy na rin ng Senado ang deliberasyon sa panukalang P3.757 trilyong national budget para sa 2019.
Ngayong Lunes, bubusisiin ng Senate finance committee ang budget ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) at Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at mga attached agencies ng mga kagawarang ito.
Bukas, November 13, ay tatalakayin naman ng Senado ang budget ng Department of Health (DOH), Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission, Climate Change Commission, at National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) at mga attached agencies ng mga ito.
Nauna nang sinabi ni Senate President Tito Sotto III na mamadaliin ng Senado ang pagpasa sa panukalang national budget.
Gayunman, kailangan pa nilang hintayin ang bersyon nito ng Mababang Kapulungan.
Matatandaang nabalam ang pag-usad nito sa Kamara dahil sa isyu ng pagpasok sa 2019 budget ng P52 bilyong pork barrel funds ng dating liderato sa pamumuno ni House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez.
