Ipinag-utos na ni Caraga region police director, Chief Superintendent Gilberto Cruz sa Buenavista Municipal Police Station ang pagsisisyasat sa pamamaslang ng tatlong lumad sa Barangay Simbalan, Buenavista, Agusan Del Norte.
November 7 nang atakihin ng mga miyembro ng New People’s Army (NPA) sina Alfredo Tomaquin Sr., Paka Pinatugaw, at Pina Pinatugaw.
Ang tatlo ay pawang mga magsasaka na mula sa tribong Higaunon at Dagatnon.
Nasawi ang mga ito matapos magtamo ng sugat dulot ng pananaga at tama ng bala sa katawan.
