Mga bumbero, pumalag sa pag-atake ni U.S. Pres. Trump sa California fires
Binanatan ng California firefighters si U.S. President Donald Trump, kasunod ng tweet nito noong weekend ukol sa nagpapatuloy na wildfires sa California.
Bahagi ng tweet ni Trump, “there is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is poor.”
Ayon pa kay Trump, bilyon-bilyong dolyar ang inilalaan umano sa forest management pero may mga nasasawi pa rin dahil sa “gross mismanagement” sa mga kagubatan.
Sa bandang huli, sinabi ni Trump na “remedy now or no more Fed payments.”
Pero ayon kay California Professional Firefighters President Brian Rice, isang uri ng “shameful attack” ang tweet ni Trump.
Giit nito, mali at hindi napapanahon ang naturang tweet ni Trump lalo’t marami sa mga bumbero ang isinasakripisyo ang kanilang sarili upang magligtas ng buhay.
Ani pa ni Rice, marami sa mga bumbero ang nagta-trabaho pa rin kahit pa ang sarili nilang mga ari-arian ay apektado ng sunog.
Sa panig naman ng Pasadena Firefighters Association, hinamon nila si Trump na alamin ang “facts” at tumulong na lamang sa mga biktima ng trahedya, kasya sa pumutak sa social media.
