Sumuko sa militar ang tatlong miyembro ng Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) mula sa Guerilla Front Committee 4B.
Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ng Philippine Army na sumuko ang mga rebelde sa 8th Infantry Dependable Battalion (8IB) sa Barangay Kalabugao, Impasugong, Bukidnon, araw ng Biyernes (November 9).
Nakilala ang isa sa mga sumuko na si Alias Dave, 22, dala ang kaniyang M79 Grenade Launcher.
Ayon kay 8IB Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Ronald Illana, ito ay resulta ng kanilang Community Support Program team deployments.
Kasama rin sa programa ang pagbibigay ng impormasyon hinggil sa Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) sa kasagsagan ng kanilang CSP deployment.
Sinabi naman ni 4th Infantry Division Commander Major Gen. Ronald Villanueva na patuloy ang kanilang pag-iikot para ipagbigay-alam ang tungkol sa iba’t ibang programa sa mga barangay.
Kabilang aniya sa mga programa ang isyu ukol sa pangunahing rason ng pag-recruit ng NPA.
