JBC, naglabas ng 5 pangalan na kabilang sa shortlist para sa chief justice post
Naglabas ang Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) ng limang pangalan na kabilang sa shortlist para sa posisyon ng pagka-Punong Mahistrado.|
Batay sa anunsiyo ni Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra, kabilang sa shortlist si Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio at sina Associate Justices Estela Perlas-Bernabe, Diosdado Peralta, Lucas Bersamin at Andres Reyes Jr.
Posibleng ilabas ang shortlist sa araw ng Linggo o Lunes.
Maaari namang magbigay ng komento o reklamo ang publiko kaugnay sa mga nominado sa JBC hanggang Huwebes, November 15.
Matatandaang nabakante ang posisyon matapos umabot si dating Chief Justice Teresita Leonardo-De Castro sa mandatory retirement age na 70 noong Oktubre.
