Alok na maging DICT Secretary, ikinukonsidera ni Honasan ayon kay Duterte
Kinumpirma ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na inalok niya si Senator Gringo Honasan na maging bagong kalihim ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
Sa ambush interview matapos pamunuan ang pamamahagi ng land titles sa Boracay, sinabi ng presidente na ikinukonsidera naman ng senador ang posibilidad na hawakan ang posisyon.
“I think he’s considering the possibility. Ako naman, I invited him,” ani Duterte.
Ayon kay Duterte hinimok niya si Honasan na samahan siyang mamuno para sa mas maayos na Pilipinas lalo’t hindi naman na ito muling tatakbo sa eleksyon.
“Sabi ko, if you are doing anything and if you will not run again. So why don’t you join me in a quest for a better Philippines and a better government,” giit ni Duterte.
Nasa huling termino na si Honasan sa pagka-Senador.
Hindi pa naman anya sigurado ang punong ehekutibo kung nakapagdesisyon na si Honasan na tanggapin ang pwesto.
“I think he’s toying with the idea of joining, but I’m not sure if he has decided to actually join,” dagdag ng presidente.
Si Eliseo Rio Jr. ang kasalukuyang kalihim ng DICT.
