Drug testing sa mga estudyante at mga kumpanya OK lang kung random at hindi mandatory – Sotto
Random at hindi mandatory drug test ang ipinatutupad sa mga paaralan at mga kumpanya.
Ayon kay Senate President Tito Sotto III, ginawang random na lang ang drug test sa mga manggagawa sa mga establisyimento at sa mga paaralan sa halip na mandatory.
Paliwanag ni Sotto, ang importante naman sa drug testing ay masigurong magkakaroon ng confirmatory test sa sinumang magpopositibo.
Iginiit ni Sotto na wala namang mali sa random drug testing, at bahagi lamang ito ng awareness program.
Kasama kasi aniya ang “prevention” sa formula sa war on drugs.
At bahagi ng prevention ay ang pagsasagawa ng drug testing.
