Taas-pasahe sa jeep at bus epektibo na ngayong araw

Epektibo na ngayong araw ang taas-pasahe sa jeep at bus na inaprubahan ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board.

Mula ngayong araw, papatak na sa P10 ang minimum fare sa public utility jeepneys (PUJs), P11 pesos sa ordinary buses at P13 pesos naman ang minimum na pamasahe sa mga airconditioned buses.

Sakop ng LTFRB Order ang Metro Manila, Region 3 at Region 4.

Ibinasura ng LTFRB ang inihaing mosyon ng United Filipino Consumers and Commuters (UFCC) na layong pigilan ang fare hike.

Nag-utos na rin ang Department of Transportation (DOTr) sa LTFRB na i-review munang muli ang inaprubahang fare increase.
