Comelec naghahanap na ng supplier ng ballot paper, marking pens at SD cards

Papasok ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) sa negotiated procurement para sa bibilhing mga ballot paper at marking pens na gagamitin para sa May 2019 mid-term elections.

Sa “Invitation for Negotiated Procurement” na pirmado ni Atty. Maria Theresa Yraola, Special Bids and Awards Committee (SBAC) Secretariat Head, halos P166 million ang inilaang halaga ng Comelec para sa mga bibilhing suplay.

Sa nasabing halaga, P137.8 million ay inilaan para sa pagbili ng ballot paper, habang P28 million naman para sa higit isang milyong piraso ng marking pens.

Sa hiwalay namang “invitation to bid,” naghahanap din ang Comelec ng interesadong bidder para naman sa 104,165 piraso ng mga secure digital (SD) cards na bibilhin nito para gamitin pa rin sa automated elections.

Nabatid na nasa P78.5 million ang approved budget contract para sa nasabing proyekto.

Idadaan ang pagbili sa mga SD Cards sa competitive bidding.

Ang deadline para sa pagsusumite ng bid ay itinakda sa November 19, 2018.
